Failed To Allocate Frame Buffer

Only removing the hw.ramSize=1024 solves the issue (you can't do that if WXGA is selected, you need to use a manual resolution settings). –RedGlyph Nov 2 '12 at 11:00 add a Author Posts May 8, 2012 at 12:00 am #14602 JensGudackerParticipant Hi! Mocha even doesn't render one single spline.

  2. Other times it works just fine without any configuration changes.
  3. What's odd is that this same server, using the same videocard, seems to work just fine when RedHat Enterprise Server 5 is used.
  4. I guess you're exceeding your GPU capabilities doing 5x with that buffer size.

The problem isn't related to emulator resolution or OpenGL, nor how much memory your computer has. What version of mocha Pro are you using? Why does the U-2 use a chase car when landing? Your specs, distro, drivers and software versions, logs and terminal output. Is it likely to be a driver issue or actually a card issue? 1GB isn't a large amount of VRAM these days but it would still seem sufficient for 5x~320x240. OK.

I'm not so sure on that, I would doubt it...MAME shouldn't need much at all... Using Windows 64bit, Xoom (Android 3.0). The question is, why is that program trying to allocate a 1GB buffer on the GPU? It appears that this CentOS version (5) doesn't recognize that chipset.

This was enabled by default and also specified in the config file. (II) "dri" will be loaded. Information about drivers?
