Hi Anneke,Have you tried Image Catpure ? Canon Scanner Failed To Open A Session On The Device First Time Here? Unfortunately I don't have a packet capture from the device when it's working properly. There is no "File" in the systems preferences and I cannot find the Import Image command anywhere else. So I'm ignoring that update.
