Because if it is does then would you care to tell me where I can get IE for Ubuntu? You kind of took the discussion to a whole new level. The machine had not bee switched off and no updates had been applied in the interim. That is to say, IE and many other products have always been historically problematic.
I started this site as a technical guide for myself and it has grown into what I hope is a useful reference for all.
